Tender, juicy pork chops in a delicious Alabama style white BBQ sauce.
Ingredients
Directions
Easy weeknight recipe that comes together in minutes. The key to a great porkchop is to NOT overcook them. I use a digital thermometer to make sure the meat is just how I want it to be. To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures: Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) | Seafood 145° F | Chicken 165° F | Ground Beef 160° F | Ground Turkey 165° F | Ground Pork 160° F

Preheat a frying pan on medium high heat, I used a cast iron grill pan. Add a tablespoon of olive oil once the pan is hot. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel, salt and pepper both sides.

Place the pork chops in the hot well-oiled pan allowing them to cook for 4-5 minutes each side. Cook pork chops until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees.

While pork chops are cooking make sauce. Whisk together, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper.

Ladle a generous amount of barbeque sauce onto a platter.

Set the pork chops in the sauce and drizzle more sauce over the top of them. Serve and enjoy!
